Six Quick Chicks

Six Quick Chicks comedy cabaret draws from a pool of Sydney and Melbourne women performers to always offer 6 hilarious 10 minute slots in quick succession. Brave, bent and barely burlesque, the chicks have shocked and delighted Australia from coast to coast. A founding chick, Knox performed regularly as Lull with this titillating troupe from 2007—2009.

Every now and again a show comes along that is so fresh and different it can defeat reviewers… In the hands of these groovy ladies of the late-night gig, ‘camp’ (a somewhat faded form) certainly takes on a sharp new edge… it represents a rare above-ground showing of some of the work that survives ‘underneath’ the Sydney most people think they know.
